Center State Pistol Training and Education
We provide instruction that meets or exceeds the requirements for your New York State Pistol Permit. This is both the 18-hour course and a 4-hour course for military that need article 35 to apply for a pistol permit. Currently certified by Madison, Cortland, Herkimer, and Chenango Counties.
Experienced Instructor
Center State provides instruction by a certified NRA and New York State DCJS instructor. I have 23 years law enforcement experience and became a DCJS firearms instructor in 2010 teaching law enforcement officers along with recruits. While employed I was also sent to become a firearms armorer for the agency for all of the firearms that were issued. In 2024 I recertified as an NRA instructor to add to my background. I have 15 years' experience instructing all levels of shooters.
